School ProfileWarrnambool College is a Year 7-12 secondary school situated within parkland in the eastern area of the city of Warrnambool.
Students from the City of Warrnambool and the surrounding rural districts attend the school, which has a stable student population of more than 1150 students with boys and girls in approximately equal numbers.
Our staffing profile of approximately 150 members includes 3 Assistant Principals, 20 Leading Teachers, teaching and education support staff, wellbeing team members and a separate reengagement staffing complement.

Selection CriteriaSC1: Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established Disability Inclusion guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in the school with their relevant work functions.

SC4: Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
SC5: Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management and other school staff with respect to inclusive education.
SC6: Demonstrated capacity to provide high-level administrative support in the preparation for Disability Inclusion Profile Meetings and to liaise with a range of key stakeholders in the documentation of the Disability Inclusion Functional Needs Domains.
RoleSchool holiday breaks are provided for this position.
Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services.
The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field.
It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with the administration processes for Disability Inclusion applications and meetings.Assist with Student Support Group (SSG) meetings as required including taking of minutes.Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEP) including editing and updating on Compass.Provide support with timetabling of Learning Support Officers in classes.Ensure that all confidential student files are kept per DE guidelines, the Privacy and Health Records Act.Update and maintain information on our student management systems (Compass/ CASES21) and other related programs.Attend and participate in team meetings.Provide administration management for the team including but not limited to; triage all phone calls, entering student attendance on Compass, making appointments for DI staff, participate in meetings and take minutes as required, assist with administrative tasks related to the DI program, communicate with and assist external providers, create and produce various communication documents, notices and electronic information.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
