As a participant in the 24-month traineeship, RII30120 Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations, you will attend Macmahon's industry-leading dump truck academy run by Macmahon Contractors RTO (52303) and subsidised by the state government of Western Australia. You will learn about dump truck operations and then apply what you have learnt in our Caterpillar Truck Simulator before starting on site. As a part of the selection process, you will be required to attend an Assessment Centre, and if successful, you will be required to start on the 14th of April at Greenbushes Talison. This will give you enough time to complete all onboarding and hand in your notice at your current employer.
Key Information This role is Drive in Drive out to Talison Greenbushes Mine.Travel to and from site is factored into the site fatigue management policy 13 hours door to door.Assessment day will be on February 4.If you are successful during the screening, you will be required to do additional testing before being invited to the Assessment Centre.
