Location ProfileLyndhurst Primary School (LPS) is located in the Marriott Waters Estate in Lyndhurst. The school opened for all levels, Prep-6, in 2011. Currently, there are 950 students in 2024.
Lyndhurst Primary School is part of a partnership agreement between the Victorian State Government and Axiom Education, a private consortium. In every other respect, Lyndhurst is a state government primary school.
A school for the community LPS is a school that includes and embraces its local community. We welcome contributions from parents and the community to the education of our children.
The Lyndhurst community is highly diverse, with approximately 60% of our students listing English as their second language, representing 50 language groups and 45 countries of birth.
Who are we looking for?The successful candidate will support the Principal in establishing a strong and positive culture in our developing school. Significant work may be required during the vacation break in January for successful induction.

ResponsibilitiesThe role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;Contributing to the development and evaluation of a curriculum area;Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings;Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
