Location Profile Truganina South Primary School is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) development in the Wyndham network area. The school caters for all year levels from P-6. The school is located on Parkvista Drive and Federation Boulevard Truganina South and the majority of the students are drawn from the local area. The state of the art facility provides critical infrastructure that brings together the best in contemporary educational design and promotes active student-centred learning through the creation of flexible, functional spaces. The school is a leading example of ecological sustainability, with a frog bog and a range of other utility conservation measures. The school structure is organised around the stages of schooling. Grades are arranged in straight Preps, 5¿s and 6¿s and multi-age grades for Years 1-4. In addition, from 3 August 2020, to be eligible for employment in the principal class or teacher class, a person who graduated from a Victorian Initial Teacher Education program after 1 July 2016, must demonstrate that they have passed the literacy and numeracy test for initial teacher education (LANTITE) requirements. This condition is satisfied where the LANTITE requirement is part of the Victorian Initial Teacher Education program completed by the person.
