RoleThe classroom teacher classification comprises two salary ranges. The primary focus is on planning, preparation, and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesDirect teaching of groups and individual students.Contributing to the development and evaluation of curriculum programs.Participating in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings.Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area.
