We grow As an Asset Inspector Trainee with Essential Energy you will have access to the latest training, giving you skills and knowledge that put you at the forefront of the industry.
You will work with highly skilled and passionate Asset Inspectors to gain on-the-job training, as well a formal qualification of Certificate II in Electrical Supply industry – Asset Inspection & Testing.
Current Opportunities Asset Inspectors are responsible for inspecting the poles and associated hardware on our electrical network.
They ensure the integrity of the poles and hardware by identifying, categorising and recording all defects to ensure we continue to provide customers with safe and reliable power.
The Asset Inspector Traineeship is a one-year program, with a combination of structured training from our Technical Training team, external training providers and practical on-the-job experience.
Commencing in 2025, we have positions in the following locations: Armidale, Bathurst, Bourke, Bulahdelah, Cooma/Bombala, Goulburn, Grafton, Harden, Leeton, Lismore, Murwillumbah, Orange/Molong, Parkes, Queanbeyan, Tamworth, Tooleybuc, Tumbarumba, Walcha, Walgett, and Wellington.
