2025 APAC Graduate Programme - Global Banking
Our two-year graduate programme is designed to provide you with first-class training and immediate responsibility, giving you the support and development you need to start a successful career in financial services.
For: Final year students or recent graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance/Mathematics/Engineering.
Duration: 24 months
Start date: January 2025 (depends on graduation date).
Who can apply? Apply as a recent graduate, final year undergraduate, or master's student in any discipline;Possess a GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline;Be fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage);Demonstrate methodical, logical, solution-driven thinking, with commercial awareness and a keen interest in the latest finance topics as well as market trends.What you can expect? You will be provided with a comprehensive induction, where you will be immersed in group training and discover more about the BNP Paribas Group.
Training
From day one, you will start your business-specific technical and financial training, alongside personal skills development aimed at equipping you with the knowledge you need to get the best possible start in your career. Working alongside our teams of industry-leading specialists, you will gain on-the-job training throughout your two-year programme, taking you along a development path to build your expertise and broaden your base of skills. You will also have the chance to experience other parts of the business through cross-entity projects.
Mentor & Buddy
Throughout the programme, you will be mentored by experienced managers and team members, as well as pairing with a buddy from our early career cohorts.
What you will do? The primary responsibility of the role is to assist the CMG team with analytical and reporting assistance in the context of growing a profitable and sustainable business franchise within the region. The Analyst (Graduate), in collaboration with its direct report(s) and the CMG team, will be responsible for:
Due Diligence and industry research on behalf of the CMG team;Financial and Credit risk assessment on new and existing client files;Portfolio-wide management, prudential monitoring and timely reporting;Ensuring CMG's portfolio is managed in compliance with internal policies and guidelines;Prepare, read and manipulate financial models;Budget analysis, modelling and reporting;Assistance with marketing and deal origination;Client facing support through ongoing management of the client portfolio.Requirements: Tertiary degree qualified in finance, accounting, commerce, law and/or engineering;Previous experience within or keen interest towards the Energy, Infrastructure and Resources sectors desirable;Strong customer focus - passionate about delivering best service to clients;Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills;Planning & Execution - Effectively manages own time and resources to meet deadlines and quality standards;Resilience - Continues to work effectively and pursue goals when faced with obstacles;Team Orientation - Works with the team and the broader organisation towards shared goals.About BNP PARIBAS
