Women's and Children's Health Network, Surgical Services, Paediatric Orthopaedics North Adelaide (5006)SalaryClassification - MDP2 - Medical Practitioner - $89,253 to $144,291Full time - Term Contract (temporary up to 2 Feb 2025)About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Orthopaedics team as an Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar, where you will be responsible for:
The Orthopaedic Registrar will contribute to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under Consultant supervision.
The Orthopaedic Registrar will demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.The Registrar will participate in the on-call roster, which is shared between the fellow and 4 registrars.The Registrar will be required to operate a Fluoroscope if licensing can be obtained.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.Minimum 4 years satisfactory experience as an Intern/Resident Medical Officer/Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital.Extensive clinical experience and competence in the practice of Orthopaedic Surgery.Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service to the patient.Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.Significant experience with teaching and research programs.What WCHN Can Offer You Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.
