About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Orthopaedics
team as an Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar , where you will be responsible for: The Orthopaedic Registrar will contribute to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under Consultant supervision.
The Orthopaedic Registrar will demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
The Registrar will participate in the on-call roster, which is shared between the fellow and 4 registrars.
The Registrar will be required to operate a Fluoroscope if licensing can be obtained.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
Minimum 4 years satisfactory experience as an Intern/Resident Medical Officer/Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital.
Extensive clinical experience and competence in the practice of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service to the patient.
Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.
Significant experience with teaching and research programs.
