The program is presented chronologically and incorporates 4 streams of training; Orientation and pre start training to prepare you for the role, 2-year professional development program designed for new graduates but suitable for all levels of experience, with a strong focus on Private Practitioner Specific training, Ongoing professional development sessions covering a range of topics with guest speakers including specialists, GPs, radiographers and medical equipment presentations, and One on one mentoring sessions that will continue for the course of your employment. The program's most intensive training and supervision occurs during the first six to twelve months, with greater independence as the program progresses. All training and PD including orientation is held in paid working hours. The program is tailored to each applicants level of experience and requirements.
