Executive Level 1Non-ongoing, CasualLocation: Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and SydneyThe Opportunity Transit Protocol Officers (TPOs) are experienced professionals who facilitate the international arrival and departure of foreign senior visitors (e.g. Deputy Heads of State or Deputy Heads of Government, Ministers). TPOs also facilitate some domestic travel within Australia on an as-required basis.
TPOs are non-ongoing employees who are employed on a casual basis. Remuneration is based on actual hours of duty performed.
Our Ideal Candidate A TPO must be able to work independently and will have confidence, integrity, discretion, and sound judgement. They will have leadership skills and a strong work ethic, a professional manner, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience in airport operations and/or protocol work is highly desirable.
Key Duties As a representative of the Australian Government, TPOs carry out the following functions with very limited supervision, to facilitate the international arrival and departure of foreign senior visitors (e.g. Deputy Heads of State or Deputy Heads of Government, Ministers) and for some domestic travel within Australia:
