2 X Mechanic (Dalby)

Council is seeking 2 experienced Diesel Fitters who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Council equipment such as loaders, dozers, graders, road rollers, backhoes and trucks along with providing workshop services across the region.These positions are based in Dalby.Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will:Diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment;Dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, assembling and installing parts to vehicles, construction and industrial machinery in the field and in the Workshop;Requisitioning needed spare parts;Interpreting specifications and job orders for assigned duties.The successful applicant will have:OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card;Additional InformationThe recruitment process may include candidates completing a pre-employment health declaration and you may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.WDRC reserves the right to close or withdraw vacancies before the advertised closing date, or extend the closing date, without prior notice.
