This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects, spanning buildings (all types), industrial facilities, heavy industrial projects, process facilities, and defense.You'll experience career development within a robust learning culture that fosters professional and technical growth.
These are full-time, permanent positions based at our Adelaide office, with opportunities to contribute to projects nationwide.RESPONSIBILITIESWorking under the direction of the Structural Manager, you would be expected to:Undertake detailed analysis of various structural designs, including steel, concrete, and timber structuresWork collaboratively within project teams, including other engineers and draftersProvide construction phase servicesPerform investigative inspections and report writingUtilise various software packages for structural analysisReview and interpret project inputs, such as architectural and services documentation, surveys, and other client inputsMeet project timeframes and budgetsBe motivated in self-learning activitiesTake on some financial management responsibilities.POSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Engineering degree in Civil/Structural, with advanced knowledge in structural engineering or Master of Engineering degree in Civil, and advanced knowledge in structural engineering.3-8 years' experience in the structural design of industrial and commercial buildings.Experience with reinforced concrete and post-tensioned concrete is advantageous.Ability to meet deadlines and work within budgets.Strong team player.Sound knowledge of relevant legal requirements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated progress towards Chartered Status is advantageous.Experience in project delivery within South Australia.A competitive salary based on the level of experience will be offered.
