2 Postdoctoral Fellowships in Molecular SimulationInstitute for Frontier Materials, Deakin UniversityTwo postdoctoral fellowships are available now in the team of Prof Tiffany Walsh at the Institute for Frontier Materials, Deakin University, Geelong, Australia, in the area of computational materials science/computational chemistry.Application deadline: Nov 29th 2024.Start date: mid Jan 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.Candidates must be onshore (resident in Australia) at the time of job commencement.Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.The research topic is the use of molecular simulation to investigate the interface between inorganic surfaces such as gold, graphene, and carbon nanotubes and biomolecules such as peptides, proteins, and nucleic acids (DNA and RNA).Both positions are for 2 years duration full-time. Salary range: $100,472 - $125,568 AUD depending on experience. There is some flexibility with salary for the right candidates.No relocation to Geelong required.
