Hames Sharley is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join our Northern Territory Studio as our next 2IC. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively across many sectors and grow professionally at one of Australia's largest inter-disciplinary practices. Key responsibilities will include: Running projects from start to finish, and building a growing external industry presenceBeing part of a truly collaborative, design-focused team approach, from conception through to constructionMentoring a diverse and inclusive internal team, with the support of the Studio LeaderBeing inquisitive and courageous in seeking to understand each client and collaboratively developing project-specific conceptual narrativesEngaging in management strategies and assisting in business developmentWorking on remote projects and undertaking consultation with local First Nations communitiesWorking on an extensive array of projects in sectors including retail, health, defense, sports, and cultureMaintaining a design focus with the tenacity and rigor to see concepts through detail and on to site As the ideal candidate, you will bring to the role: Your drive, ingenuity and natural leadership capabilitiesYour passion for supporting both project and staff developmentYour excellent verbal and graphic communication skillsYour ability to work independently with clients and consultantsStrong presentation skills using software (such as Enscape) and the ability to efficiently detail and documentKnowledge of procurement, construction and building services desirableExperience using Revit Why join Hames Sharley: At Hames Sharley, we place significant emphasis on fostering a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal wellbeing.
