In this 2IC/Educational Leader role, you will support the Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Service in line with company policies and procedures, meeting compliance and operation targets. You will also work closely with both our Leadership Team & Educator cohort to provide curriculum direction as well as drive continuous improvements within our educational programs and practices. Through reflection and review, you will identify the team's individual and collective strengths to create stimulating and inclusive learning opportunities for our children's inquisitive young minds to take flight. You will also maintain excellent relationships with families, children, team members and the wider Community.
At Sparrow Early Learning Camillo, we are a multicultural centre with children and Educators from a variety of backgrounds. With a low staff turnover, our Educators are able to form strong and meaningful bonds not only with our children but with our families as well.
What you'll need:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
Minimum 2 years experience in a current Second in Charge & Educational Leader role
Proven knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Childhood Development and Play-based Child-driven Pedagogy
Current Working with Children Check
First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
Confidence when communicating with all levels of management
A strong ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture within our service
