The TAP On Mitchell is a busy outdoor café / beer garden serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to our diverse clientele in the heart of Darwin City. We are searching for an experienced Chef who is looking to take their skills to the next level, covering LSL for our Head Chef with an ongoing position.
Australian recognised Commercial Cookery qualification. (Required) Food Safety Supervisor qualification. (Required) Minimum of 5 years experience in high volume a la carte kitchens. Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations. Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service. Strong planning, organisation and communication skills Effective ordering, menu costing, stock control and waste management experience. Experience in cultivating a team and mentoring commercial cookery students. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
