We are urgently seeking a Marketing Co-ordinator for an upcoming temporary assignment with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of our local community.
About the Role
This temporary role is based in office and will commence asap (through to May 2025 initially with the potential for further extension based on business needs).
Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team, the role will focus on co-ordinating, creating and executing impactful social media and digital marketing strategies that drive results.
Duties include: Developing tailored social media content and activity to build on strategies while delivering on the plans for the organisation, events and fundraising activity.Helping develop a new website while supporting the roll out of a new organisational branding initiative (WordPress experience a considerable advantage).Optimising SEO and website performance to drive traffic and engagement.Creating professional, engaging social media posts, and stories (a strong understanding of META Business Suite Management processes and tools is required).Scheduling and managing content (some past experience in developing content would also be advantageous).Monitoring social media performance and results and providing detailed reports on activity and engagement as well as monitoring fundraising performance and event registrations via platforms like Ortto and Funraisin.Acting as a key point of contact for other departments to support their ideas and requirements via social media platforms.Managing email marketing campaigns.Skills and Experience
We are seeking a team player with the following skills and experience:
Proven ability to deliver results in social media / digital marketing.Proficiency in content creation platforms (including Canva), together with a strong understanding of META Business Suite Management processes and tools.A keen eye for detail to ensure quality and brand consistency.Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.A proactive and flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.Ideally you will be available to work in office 4 days/week (Monday to Thursday) – flexibility with hours is available.This is a great opportunity to work locally as part of the Ipswich community, making a meaningful difference as part of a busy and impactful team.
