We are urgently seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator for a temporary assignment in Carole Park, working with a supplier of choice to the construction industry with a track record of excellence spanning over 60 years.
Working in a very well laid out, safe and tidy warehouse, you will be involved in packing and dispatch of textiles and building materials while maintaining high safety standards.
About the role Join a dedicated team performing a range of warehouse and forklift duties.
Key responsibilities include: Picking orders from paper run sheets.
Packing and preparing textiles and building materials for dispatch.
Operating a forklift to move and organise stock.
Adhering to workplace health and safety protocols, including the correct use, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment.
Key requirements To be considered for this role, you will need: A current Forklift Licence (essential) and previous experience in a similar role (picking/packing or general warehouse operations).
Reliable transport to attend shifts at Carole Park (car parking available on-site).
Basic computer skills for inventory and order processing.
Team player approach with a proactive and positive attitude.
Commitment to following all WHS standards and protocols.
The roster Day shift 6:00am–2:00pm Monday to Friday (preferred but 8:00am–4:00pm will be considered for the right candidate).
3 months initially (potential for permanent role to be made available in the future and temps are encouraged to apply).
Christmas shutdown from 20 th December to 6 th January.
