Our client is an Australian business which supplies a number of national markets through a refined and systematic manufacturing process.
They design and manufacture products for a wide range of specialist applications having accumulated a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise through its years of service to the Australian market.
We are recruiting for a forklift driver and production worker; a truck licence would be an advantage.
Permanent role starting from $30 ph with 15% penalty rate for afternoon shift.
Key duties and responsibilities include: Experienced forklift licence operator Prior manufacturing or agriculture experience an advantage, but non-essential. Physically capable of the manual handling required in a manufacturing environment Picking, weighing and batching ingredients for blending Bagging and stacking small packs Maintain workspace in a clean and tidy state Do prestart checks and notify maintenance of any issues found. To be considered, you will need: Forklift Licence Physically capable of the manual handling required in a manufacturing environment. A good attitude and a team player Two references and availability to start ASAP. Good hourly rate, overtime available depending on requirements.
