A permanent full-time opportunity has become available in Ipswich with a not-for-profit membership-based association. Established for over 76 years, this association has grown to over 78,000 members and in Queensland, they are the peak body in the sporting discipline that they represent.
This role will provide key customer support to branch members, with duties including:
Answering telephones, transferring calls and taking accurate messages
Answering enquiries from members (phone, email, post)
Processing of memberships (renewals and new applications)
Delivering a high level of customer service
Data entry, spreadsheeting and word processing
Filing, scanning and recordkeeping
General administrative support to the team
To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:
Previous customer service experience within an office environment (experience in a membership-based organisation advantageous but not essential)
Sound skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook with confidence learning new technology (experience with CRM systems preferred)
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Well-developed organisational skills with a proven ability to organise your time and workload effectively
Some experience in accounts processing would be valuable but not essential
Availability to commence prior to 08/11/2024 preferred
