A permanent full-time opportunity has become available in Ipswich with a not-for-profit membership-based association.
Established for over 76 years, this association has grown to over 78,000 members and in Queensland, they are the peak body in the sporting discipline that they represent.
This role will provide key customer support to branch members, with duties including:
Answering telephones, transferring calls and taking accurate messagesAnswering enquiries from members (phone, email, post)Processing of memberships (renewals and new applications)Delivering a high level of customer serviceData entry, spreadsheeting and word processingFiling, scanning and recordkeepingGeneral administrative support to the teamTo be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:
Previous customer service experience within an office environment (experience in a membership-based organisation advantageous but not essential)Sound skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook with confidence learning new technology (experience with CRM systems preferred)Fast and accurate data entry skillsWell-developed organisational skills with a proven ability to organise your time and workload effectivelySome experience in accounts processing would be valuable but not essentialAvailability to commence prior to 08/11/2024 preferredDue to the nature and responsibilities of this position, consent to a national criminal history check will be required prior to any offer of employment being made (and any record of disclosable court outcomes or pending charges will be considered based on relevance to the position being applied for).
