16570R| Leading Hand – Civil Construction Role Based At Swanbank $45 Per Hour

We are urgently seeking a Leading Hand for a privately owned and operated company, for a civil road crew specialising in roads, stormwater drainage, culverts, service reticulation, carparks, and landfill cells. This is a temporary assignment that could lead to permanent role for the right candidate. The role is based at Swanbank. Monday to Friday day work (casual $45 per/hour)
Working within the civil team, this role will ensure assigned tasks are completed with limited supervision by providing direction to team members to carry out tasks. Duties include:

Work and ensure others are working in accordance with safe work instructions.
Operating plant and equipment within licence requirements, manufacturer's specifications and to standards.
Ensuring all machinery and equipment is maintained to manufacturer's specifications and standards.
Liaising and providing feedback to the Supervisor, provide direction and guidance to team members and other stakeholders.

To be considered, you should be available to commence and demonstrate:

Experience as a Leading Hand with previous civil construction experience (road construction)
Current Construction Industry White Card
Preferably current certificate 3 in civil construction with appropriate machinery tickets
Current open MR licence
Appropriate hi-vis workwear attire
Suitable level of physical fitness to perform this role
