We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to join our client's team on an initial 6-month contract for a long-term program.Contract Details:Duration: 6 months (Long term program)Location: Hybrid – IpswichCommencement Date - ASAPDaily Rate: £500 - £550Determination: Inside IR35Key Requirements:Certified OpenStack Administrator (Pike): Demonstrated expertise in managing and administrating OpenStack environments, ensuring smooth operations and optimization.Proficiency in Nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, Swift, Heat, Horizon, and other integral components of OpenStack.Hands-on experience in deploying and managing virtualized environments using VMware ESXi, KVM/QEMU, and related technologies.Demonstrated success in onboarding Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) into virtualized environments, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.Extensive practical experience, with a minimum of 5 years, in deploying and managing OpenStack, VMware ESXi, and associated technologies.Must Haves:Design, Implement, and Optimize Infrastructure Solutions: Utilize OpenStack, VMware ESXi, and other virtualization technologies to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure solutions tailored to our unique requirements.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to onboard VNFs, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with business objectives.Provide Expert Guidance and Support: Offer expert guidance and support to resolve infrastructure issues promptly and optimize performance for maximum efficiency.Relevant Certifications: Holding certifications in OpenStack and VMware is highly desirable, showcasing your expertise and commitment to excellence.Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.If you're passionate about infrastructure, innovation, and making a meaningful impact in the telecommunications industry, we want to hear from you!
