Hamilton Barnes is representing a leading British multinational retailer company who are looking to hire an Apigee Lead Engineer, for this position you will be responsible for setting up the CI/CD pipelines and enabling the path for the platform version from Apigee Edge to Apigee -X.
Join our client's team as an Apigee Engineer on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing Apigee architecture, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and facilitating the transition from Apigee Edge to Apigee X. You will collaborate closely with customer architects and network/cloud engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Responsibilities: Design Apigee architecture in alignment with customer architects and network/cloud engineers.Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for Apigee Proxy deployments and testing.Develop Proxy flows, templates, and implement security measures. Automate processes such as Proxy migration and importing OAS docs.Customize and configure the developer portal as per project requirements.Configure Analytics and Monitoring capabilities of Apigee to ensure efficient performance monitoring and analysis.Skills/Must have: Proficiency in Apigee Edge and Apigee X platforms.Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and integration.Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and implementation.Familiarity with design frameworks for creating scalable and resilient architectures.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Salary: £575 per day
