Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe collection and processing of metallurgical samples from the process plant
Duties: Sample collection from sample stations and live streams within the Processing Plant Accurate labelling, recording and data entry for all samples obtained Registration of samples into the Automated Laboratory Facility Assist with maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience as a metallurgical technician or laboratory technician Knowledge of sample collection and processing Experience working in a remote environment C Class WA Drivers Licence Mine Site Facilities: Modern, comfortable camp accommodation High quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options) Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for females Heated outdoor swimming pool Beach Volleyball court and Golf simulators Village shop and extensive supporting amenities In-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capability Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family About the Company: Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
