Job Description Due to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across Victoria, we are looking for junior 12 D Design Engineers to join our Victoria team.
As a 12 D Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, which produces designs using 12 D Model software.
You will work with a team of Engineers and produce detailed designs relating to earthworks, sewer, roads, drainage/stormwater, water, etc.
and be trained by experts in the field.
Key accountabilities for the position: Production of models and design information using the latest version of 12d Model and CAD software (Auto CAD) Basic to medium proficiency in 12 D will be specially regarded.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide practical and cost-effective solutions.
Collaborate with other designers to develop and maintain design modelling standards.
Identify and forecast risks, opportunities and variances in the relevant scope of works.
Provide information for basic estimating exercises and prepare take-offs as requested.
Required Skills and Competencies Tertiary education in Engineering or equivalent 12 D software experience Some understanding road alignment design gained in a design consultancy, land development or construction.
Ability to interact with all stakeholders at all levels.
