1:1 SEN NURSERY PRACTITIONER Location: Tops Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, Dorset
Pay rate: Up to £12.10 per hour
Contracted Hours: 15 hours per week/ 3 days per week
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our 1-1 Nursery Practitioner helps to create a safe, educational and fun environment for the children in our care. Responsibilities include supervising children, ensuring their safety, and organizing activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks. Some days may be challenging, but you'll also laugh, have fun, and make lasting memories with our children at one of the most important development stages of their life! Some of the primary skills we are looking for include:
Responsible for the 1:1 care of the individual child to support their individual educational plan (IEP) and liaise with the Room manager on a daily basisWork with the behaviour management, equal opportunities, and SEN representative to ensure the child's needs are metWriting and updating the IEP and liaising with the relevant representatives and Nursery ManagerKeep colleagues informed and disclose relevant updates regarding the continual progress of children on a 1:1 support programmeWork closely with external professionals or agencies involved with the family support of the child you are providing 1:1 care forIf you think you have the right skills and attitude to deliver the highest quality of care and engagement for our children as a Nursery Assistant within one of our Nurseries, then you could be the next to join us.
