Position00406 VP of ITCity, StateChicago,IllinoisCountryUnited StatesSalary225- 235K plus 20% BonusContact NameSteve ****** Head of IT will oversee all Information Technology functions of the company.This position will act as a key business partner to functional leaders across the company.They will be responsible for supporting the new ERP (MS Dynamics 365) and technology solutions needed to control core business processes.This individual will also be responsible for managing the company's technology infrastructure, security, and operations as well as the development and implementation of company IT policies.This person will be expected to effectively led a team of IT professionals, manage vendor partners, and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with business leaders and integrators to implement a new D365 environment with built out application ecosystemRecruit, manage, and develop IT staffLead the build out of a data warehouse and comprehensive reporting/BI solutionOversee all technology operations (i.e., infrastructure, network, desktop support, security, etc.) and make recommendations on changes that improve IT service delivery and reliabilityAlign with senior leadership/steering committee on IT priorities and resource needsCoordinate IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessaryDevise and establish IT policies that support the goals of the organizationIdentify security vulnerabilities and reduce risks by deploying strategic solutions that increase data securityBuild relationships with vendors and create cost-efficient contracts to procure IT equipment, software, and servicesControl IT budget and report on related expendituresRequirementsRequired Skills/AbilitiesPrior experience as an IT Director or similar roleA proven player-coach familiar with working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with a high sense of urgencyExperience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems, specifications and requirementsExcellent organization and leadership skills, including outstanding communication abilities both verbal and writtenSound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly master technology used in the organizationProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareStrong preference for prior experience with MS Dynamics 365Education and ExperienceBSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant fieldAt least 10 years of experience in a technical role required, with significant leadership experienceMasters degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent training and experience preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
