Power Station Operator Maintainer - Mechanical (FIFO) About the role
Zenith Energy is seeking a skilled Power Station Operator Maintainer - Mechanical to join our team in the NT. As a full-time role, you will play a vital part in the efficient and reliable operation and maintenance of our power station facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical energy services for our client.
What you'll be doing Operate and monitor power generation equipment to ensure optimal performance Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical systems and components Troubleshoot and diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions Adhere to all safety procedures and environmental regulations Maintain detailed records and documentation of equipment performance and maintenance activities Collaborate with the wider operations team to continuously improve efficiency and reliability What we're looking for Relevant trade qualification in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline Substantial experience as a power station operator or maintainer, ideally in the mechanical domain Strong working knowledge of power generation equipment, including turbines, generators, and ancillary systems Proficient in fault-finding, maintenance planning, and the execution of preventative and corrective maintenance Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently Commitment to workplace health and safety, and a demonstrated track record of safe work practices What we offer
