Due to increased product demand, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a motivated, professional and experienced Yard Hand/Forklift Operator to join our Despatch team.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role will primarily work across our Outback product range, ensuring that products are carefully packed and loaded, ready for despatch to our valued customers.
This is a permanent full time opportunity working day shift Monday to Friday (7am - 3:36pm), with overtime available.
RESPONSIBILITIES Print out vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery trucks Locate finished goods and safely load onto trucks Pick and pack various products ready for loading Scan and update records to load sheets Move stock and finished goods around the warehouse safely Maintain stock records and stock movements via scanners General housekeeping to ensure a tidy and safe working environment Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment ABOUT YOU Proven experience driving forklifts and hand loading vehicles Forklift License and SA Driver's license essential Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs Clear communicator, both written and verbal Commitment to accuracy when managing stock Basic computer literacy to track and label stock Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually Knowledge and/or previous experience in the manufacturing industry will be looked upon favorably, but not essential REWARDS & BENEFITS Flexible Working Arrangements | Health & Wellbeing Initiatives | Traineeship & Apprentice Program | Career Development Opportunities | Paid Parental Leave | Employee Referral Incentive | Stratco Team Member Discount Card | Private Health Corporate Discount | Flu Vaccinations | Employee Assistance Programme ABOUT STRATCO Stratco is an Australian-owned innovator, manufacturer, and marketer of quality building and renovation solutions.
