Libraries ACT is seeking a Workforce Officer to play a pivotal role in delivering library services to the people of Canberra. With 11 sites across Canberra, we are integral to literacy, self-education, social inclusion, digital access, and citizenship.As a Workforce Officer, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be scheduling staff resources across the ACT's public libraries. You'll collaborate with the Service Delivery leadership team, ensuring smooth operations and optimal staffing levels.Key Responsibilities:Maintain an appropriate roster using the time and attendance system (KRONOS).Handle onboarding, offboarding, staff updates, and leave management within KRONOS.Answer the Library Central Line, promptly notifying relevant staff of unplanned absences or incidents.Verify timesheets and report working hours and allowances as per applicable awards.Maintain the Workforce Coordination Team mailbox, ensuring records are up to date.Collaborate with managers and TCCS People and Capability for recruitment actions.Provide assistance to the Libraries ACT Business Support Officer.Manage financial processes in compliance with ACT Government policies.Comply with WHS policies, reporting incidents, hazards, and near misses.Join us in shaping Canberra's literacy landscape!
