Welder/Fitter

Experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder required for full-time position at Advance Steel Manufacturing Pty Ltd. Responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal parts and structures to produce high-quality components and equipment.
Key responsibilities include fabrication and assembly, welding, blueprint and specification interpretation, material preparation and finishing, equipment maintenance and safety, quality control and inspection, and collaboration and communication.
Qualifications include Certificate III in Welding/Fabrication or Technical or trade certification in welding or metal fabrication, 3-5 years of experience as a welder and metal fabricator, proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and flux-cored welding, and strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills.
Work environment is an industrial shop with potential exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and welding fumes. Regular use of protective equipment is required.
