Company Description Be part of something BIG! Novotel Devonport is currently seeking a Valet Attendant to join its Front Office team!
Overlooking the Mersey River, the Novotel Devonport boasts an unrivalled waterfront location, unique design, outstanding service, and an exciting F&B concept.
We are looking for a part-time Valet Attendant who will assist the Front Desk of the hotel and be responsible for welcoming guests, carrying luggage, parking and retrieval of guest cars, escorting guests to their rooms, explaining the facilities of the hotel, providing tourism information and dining/entertainment recommendations to our guests.

Job DescriptionSafely park and retrieve guest vehiclesManage pick up times for vehicles to ensure they are onsite for early departuresBe the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every timeCheck the daily arrival list for VIPs or guests with special needs in a timely mannerGuide guests to their room and assist with their luggageEnsure the efficient delivery and collection of group luggageBe present at the Concierge/Reception desk or in the lobby to assist guests, colleagues, and visitors when requestedEnsure the lobby/foyer area, including entry/exit doors, remain clean and presentable at all times. Conduct regular checksBook tours and sightseeing activities where requiredEnsure all logs are completed for receipt and outgoing parcels, mail, etc.Handle all complaints promptly and efficiently. Advise the Supervisor / Assistant Manager / Manager on Duty of any issues and outcomesAssist with room shows for guests as requested by Front Office team membersRespond to guest requests and queries providing knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful information serviceQualificationsAn energetic, team-focused and can-do attitudeEnthusiasm to connect with guests and to hear their storyExceptional communication skills both written and verbalHigh level of computer literacyBe reliable, well-groomed and have excellent attention to detailThe ability to work across a 7-day roster - evenings, mornings, and weekendsFull Tasmanian Manual Drivers Licence is essentialAdditional InformationWhat is in it for you?
