QUARRY TRUCK & DOG DRIVER Fleet of trucks consisting mainly of Quarry and Commercial job site deliveries. Guaranteed 38 hours a week+ overtime.  Start/Finish depot located East Queanbeyan with good access.
Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres.Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenancePlan routes and meet delivery schedulesDocument and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receiptsManoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions (Tipper)Report defects, accidents or violationsRequirements and skills Proven work experience as a Truck DriverExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsNo recent driving violationsAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment references
