What does the job look like? Reporting to the Commercial and Solutions Manager, this role will see you partnering with the Linfox business units to support the development and implementation of transport focused supply chain solutions through RFP's, transformation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work directly with both the broader ADS team and business unit stakeholders to ensure that the Analytics Team deliver high quality modelling outputs to support Linfox's operational and strategic direction. Including but not limited to: Support the growth of the business by supporting tender and Growth opportunities through analysis, solution design, modelling & process support/alignment.Analyse, interrupt, and report on existing operations with the aim to develop and implement innovative, customer-oriented supply chain solutions that result in Linfox retaining its current customers and increasing its market share through targeted business improvement.Provide alignment of operational and systems process through business analysis Key Accountabilities include:Solution design & Tender Support: Support the design, cost (baseline) and communicate logistics solutions for the businessIn developing solutions, you are required to work in collaboration with stakeholders and the broader ADS (Analytics & design Services) Team, other company departments and external partners to create the optimal solution.Understand the levers to deliver optimal and realistic KPI outcomes from modelling platforms which support business unit projects. Business Analytics: Analysis of data sets & present to stakeholders in a usable formatOperational profiling & risk analysisModelling (Warehouse &/or Transport) Operational Improvement: Process mapping (As Is & To-Be)Operational and system alignmentsProductivity & resource modelling Are you the one?You will have previous experience in a transport environment, preferably with some exposure to operations, warehouse and commercial disciplines. You will be able to apply your operational experience and have the ability to process large data sets and draw conclusions, ideas and strategic insights from data and translate to solutions/recommendations learnt in field to solutions. With a high level of passion, enthusiasm, curiosity, attention to detail and a desire to grow your skillset, you can demonstrate: Undergraduate degree preferred (Engineering, IT, Business or Logistics).Depth of experience in data analysis and interpretationStrong knowledge of supply chain industry, strategic drivers, economics, and innovation.A solid understanding of Power BI, TMS, and /or transport optimisers would be advantageousAdvanced skills in reporting analysis and presentationExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written
