The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is undergoing rapid expansion with a strong focus on sustainability.

Recruitment Process:
There are several stages of the Transit Officer recruitment process, and you must be available to attend each stage in person with the following dates below:
Aptitude and Physical Testing: 27 September – 7 October 2024
Interviews: 15 – 25 October 2024
Psychologist interview and medical assessment: 7 – 14 November 2024
Induction & Training: Commences 13 January 2025

Rail, bus and ferry services in the metropolitan area (Transperth)
Public transport services in regional centres (TransRegional)
Coach and rail passenger services to regional areas (Transwa)
School bus services
Designing, building and maintaining transport infrastructure
Protecting the long-term viability of the State's freight rail corridor and infrastructure
Since 2010, the State's three key transport agencies - the Public Transport Authority, the Department of Transport and Main Roads - have worked together as the Transport Portfolio to coordinate a smarter, integrated and optimised transport network for WA.
