Roster: 4D/3R Fortescue are seeking an experienced OPF/TLO/Port Specialist who is passionate about training to join our Hive Operations Training team.
Reporting to the Superintendent HIVE Operations Training, this role will focus on standardising skills and optimising operational practices for the OPF teams located at the Hive, Fortescue's Integrated Operations Centre in Perth.
As the OPF Trainer and Assessor, you will deliver targeted on-the-job training, provide strategic upskilling and mentorship to existing OPF personnel, develop training pathways & assessments and effectively train and assess new team members to drive high performance and ensure adherence to operational standards.
Key Responsibilities Provide training and mentorship to controllers within the Hive Control teams, tailored to their varying levels of experience Complete and submit all required documentation in alignment with Fortescue's Training and Assessment Procedures and Standards Conduct upskilling and skills standardisation training across the business for OPF Controllers Conduct quality assurance audits Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement within the training environment to provide world class training and learning experiences Proactively work with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the continual success of the OPF control operations Qualifications and Experience Extensive experience in fixed plant field operations and control systems, with a strong background in SCADA or equivalent operating system Proven ability to deliver relevant, engaging, and effective training to a diverse group of learners Proficiency in using all programs within the Microsoft Office suite Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships in a training environment Ability to prioritise projects effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving work conditions TAEDEL311- Provide work skill instruction or equivalent and NAT10898001 – Carry out workplace assessments or equivalent, or TAE40110 / TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment About Us Be part of something big.
