About the Role
OCTEC Limited is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO 90142) based in Orange NSW. We are committed to serving our local communities through high-quality training.
We are seeking an experienced Trainer to deliver CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services in Canberra, ACT.
OCTEC Limited employs most Trainers and Assessors on a casual basis. All casual Trainers are paid on a weekly basis, and our trainers are compensated for preparation, lesson planning, delivery of training, assessment work, reporting, and administration. We are also open to discussing contract training through a sole trader ABN by negotiation.
Criteria
OCTEC Limited Trainers and Assessors must meet the following criteria:

Hold TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A unit and TAEASS502 unit, or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher-level adult education qualification.
Hold the CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services or be able to map their experience to the qualification.
Have recent experience, or have maintained industry currency in the relevant sector (e.g., Aged Care, Disability Care, or Community Services).
Have participated in activities or professional development ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements.
Current driver's licence and be willing to travel.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current National Police Check or be willing to obtain.
