Trades Assistant

to join our Service team based in

Dandenong . Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting our tradespeople with their day to day tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our team and work on some of Australia's leading Earthmoving equipment.Key responsibilities include:Material handling and setting up of equipmentAssist in coordination of the work schedule and preparing jobsEnsure reports and paperwork are completed in a timely mannerGeneral housekeeping and cleaningConduct your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and proceduresMaintaining rental fleet alongside qualified trades person.To be successful in the role, you will have:Previous experience in a trades assistant or similar rolePrevious hand and power tooling experience highly regardedStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to work autonomously and within a teamExcellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquetteAn uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and proceduresAt Hitachi, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who recruits based on merit and capabilities.
