The role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trade Events & PR Coordinator to join our team at Snowy River Caravans.
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of trade events and product reviews that highlight our brand.
You will manage show merchandise, coordinate with dealerships, oversee logistics for product reviews, and ensure that our brand is presented to the highest standard at major caravan shows.
You will also be responsible for organizing photoshoots and seeking sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities : • Merchandise Coordination : Ensure all dealership locations are well stocked with show merchandise, working closely with suppliers to replenish stock as needed.
• Dealership Liaison : Act as the primary contact for dealership inquiries related to shows, maintaining smooth communication between dealers and head office.
• Show Travel and Logistics : Accompany the head office team to three major shows annually, managing event logistics and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Social Media Collaboration : Work with social media teams to provide stock and site details for each show to support product promotion and engagement.
• Stock Management : Conduct regular stocktakes to maintain adequate merchandise levels for shows, and order new supplies when necessary.
• Photoshoot and Review Organisatio n: Coordinate caravan photoshoots and reviews, ensuring all teams are informed and fully involved in the process.
• Event Representation : Represent Snowy River Caravans at shows and events, exploring potential sponsorships to increase brand awareness.
• Additional Event Tasks : Perform any other event related duties assigned by management to ensure event success General Responsibilities: Plan, design, and deliver events in line with project timelines Manage event logistics including decor, catering, entertainment, transport, location, and promotional materials Ensure events comply with all legal, health, and safety regulations Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, PR) to promote and publicise events Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the event Conduct evaluations before and after events to assess success and areas for improvement Qualifications: Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role Ability to manage multiple projects independently Strong communication and time management skills Familiarity with MS Office and project management tools Experience in organising trade shows, corporate events, or related events is an advantage A degree in Event Management or a related field is preferred What We Offer: A vibrant and creative work environment Competitive salary with performance incentives Opportunities for career advancement The chance to work on a wide range of events that contribute to Snowy River Caravans' brand growth If you're passionate about event coordination and eager to make an impact in the caravan industry, we'd love to hear from you!
