As a Technical Writer at OpusV, you will play a crucial role in creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation that translates complex technical concepts into accessible content for clients and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and produce high-quality documentation that supports our products, services, and compliance requirements.
Requirements Must be an Australian Citizen, Resident or have a valid Working VISA. Must be able to attend the Melbourne Office at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities Engage proactively with subject matter experts to extract and understand technical information for documentation purposes. Increase your knowledge and subject matter awareness to effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Produce high-quality documentation, including user manuals, guides, procedures, and technical specifications, tailored to the needs of the intended audience. Review, edit, and update existing documentation to ensure alignment with current policies, procedures, and industry standards. Maintain and organize the document management system (SharePoint), ensuring all content is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible. Write website copy, social media posts, and blog articles based on briefs provided by the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all platforms. Work closely with various teams across the company, including developers, engineers, cybersecurity, sales, and marketing, to ensure all documentation aligns with internal standards and external requirements. Required Skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Desired Skills Familiarity with IT, Communications, Networking and/or Cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
