The opportunity
We are looking for Technical Lead with experience in leading technical development of data andanalytics solutions within a complex client environment to join us at Manager level.
EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.
We implement information-driven strategies and systems that help grow, optimize and protect clientorganizations.
We go beyond strategy and provide end to end implementation of real-life data environments and havesome of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big dataengineers, developers and consultants in the region.
Your key responsibilities
Lead a team for Data Engineers, Report Developers and Data Analysts to deliver a Data and Reporting Platform integrated to the client's enterprise core systems
Align, coordinate and track progress of build tasks and dependencies to program and release schedules
Timely and quality delivery of technical design, build and system testing
Provide technical assistance to Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Reporting build team members
Collaborate with individuals and teams to promote knowledge sharing
Produce and manage sign off on technical design, data modelling and mapping documentation
Provide impact assessments to solution and requirements changes
Provide timely and accurate updates to stakeholders
Facilitate the resolution of technical risks and issues in collaboration with Engagement Manager, Solution Architects and project stakeholders
Provide treatment plans and manage overall triage and resolution of technical defects assigned to members of the build team
Conduct and ensure quality assurance of code and best practice development frameworks
Ensure solutions delivered are fit for purpose, meet security, risk and audit requirements, meet customer expectations and do not cause high severity outages
Escalate risks and issues to the Technical Lead or Engagement Manager as appropriate
Provide regular contributions to team knowledge base, product wikis and support documentation
Support cutover and implementation into production
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
Significant experience in leading technical development of data & analytics solutions
Deep technical expertise in a variety of data & analytics platform and tools
Extensive data modelling experience
Quality assurance of code and best practice development frameworks
Implementation of best practice and reusable source code frameworks/patterns
Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance -due to the nature of this role, this is essential
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience in Teradata, DataStage, PowerBI, Azure technologies
Development and implementation of accelerators and reusable development assets
Experience in Cognos, SAP BW, Hadoop
Experience in Active Directory security integration with Data and Reporting Platforms
Industry experience in government data solutions
Experience in large complex business transforms
