Switchboard Manager

With demonstrated experience in managing a switchboard manufacturing and assembly business with a specific focus on food & beverage, manufacturing facilities, water & waste water, resources, and large industrial facilities across the Eastern seaboard of Australia and into PNG you will have responsibility for managing staff (including site foreman (installation & commissioning), electricians and support staff). You will be experienced in managing and exceeding client's expectations have strong commercial awareness relating to large switchboard projects coupled with strong people management skills. Key Responsibilities: Managing site staff to include internal employees and external sub contractors. Liaising with client on project schedules, programmes, stage completions, OH & S, handover and commissioning. Weekly and monthly reporting to senior management Control of labour and resources as per project plan Achieving project milestones in line with project plan and client's expectations. Experience in managing a business unit You will confidently lead project teams from conception through to completion. You will be reporting to the Managing Director of the business and as a key member of the management team you will have a direct impact on the future development of the business. You will be fully supported and will have the internal resources you need to successfully complete projects. Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering would be well regarded although not essential, electrical trade qualifications are a minimum for this position as is the ability to step into a challenging and diverse project management role.
