Who we areSituated in the City of Onkaparinga, the Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre is a premier year round indoor aquatic facility in southern Adelaide. It features a family pool, a 25m lap pool, a fitness center, and three basketball courts catering to various sports.The Role/sRandstad is recruiting for new or experienced Swimming Instructors. The Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre runs a Learn to Swim program, and facilitates a diverse range of classes, programs, events and activities. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the day-to-day swimming program. You will be someone who has a desire to encourage people of all ages to participate and learn. You will be punctual, energetic and enjoy working with both adults and children and can deliver the following:Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety guidelines to studentsEnhance the swimming abilities of more experienced swimmersEvaluate each swimmer's performance and provide feedbackFacilitating the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.Planning swimming lessons which take into account each student's abilities and facilitate developmentEducating customers about the Watch Around Water Policy.Ensure the safety of patrons both inside and outside the pools.Responding appropriately to emergency situations.Centre Operating HoursThe Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centres are open between 6am and 8pm Monday to Friday, 7am and 4pm Saturday, and 9am and 4pm Sunday. This is an All-season opportunity!
