About the role The Support Officer - Aged and Community Care delivers entry-level (non-clinical) digital, in-home, and community-based aged and community care programs to support consumers to maintain social connectedness and independence. Working as part of an integrated nation-wide Aged and Community Care team, the role will collaborate with functional teams including Intake and Assessment, Quality, and Workforce Development, to ensure our programs are informed by consumer choice, provide dignity and respect, and are responsive to identity, culture and diversity. The role will also coordinate, supervise, train and support a large volunteer workforce.. About you Demonstrated ability to follow and implement Frameworks, policies, procedures, work instructions, guidelines and standards Thorough knowledge in coordinating, managing, training and supporting volunteers Excellent records management and general administration skills Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing programs to consumers from diverse backgrounds and cultures, including (but not limited to) First Nations, CALD and LGBTIQ+ Sound knowledge and experience in using software applications including databases, client management systems, mobile/tablet applications, and Microsoft suite of programs Benefits that act for you, while you act for humanity Financial wellbeing: In addition to your pay, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay.
