JOHNEX explosives are a 100% Australian owned manufacturer and distributor of innovative explosives. Our Kalgoorlie, WA manufacturing facility is currently seeking a locally based, dynamic person with an eye for detail to complement our team.
As a successful Supply Officer with JOHNEX explosives, some of the duties you would be responsible for, are:
Co-ordinate customer deliveries. Schedule company drivers & vehicles and communicate with relevant parties. Produce delivery documentation & physically verify all outgoing deliveries. Manage Inventory levels. Conduct regular accurate stock verification & investigations. Monitor & maintain adequate minimum stock levels. Check all incoming goods against delivery documentation. Ensure items are stored & rotated correctly. Confirm information using our Inventory Control system. Precise & timely data entry of production, payroll & delivery data. Verify & ensure accurate records are maintained. Create purchase orders and manage the goods inwards process & invoicing. Attend weekly (phone/TEAMS) meetings, provide relevant information to stakeholders, record feedback, produce reports & update planners for management. Administrative tasks such as answering phones, monitoring emails & maintaining an efficient & concise file management system Comply with OS&H policies & practices in the Workplace. Ensure the most up to date Company polices & relevant legislation is available to all staff. Participate in JOHNEX's extensive internal training & mentor programs & obtain Industry qualifications with company supported access to external accredited training providers  Essential Criteria for this role: Applicants must be over 18. This is an industry requirement. Australian Citizen or working rights. Current C Class (manual) driver's license and own transport to & from work. Ability to pass medical assessment, ongoing drug and alcohol screening. A police clearance (within 3 months). Skills & Experience JOHNEX prides itself on being a reliable explosives industry supplier, you will need a strong customer focus with utmost attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work. Demonstrated literacy, numeracy, oral & written communication skills. Sound computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office programs particularly, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Experiences and skills in Inventory Control including picking, selecting, receipting, stocktaking and issue of materials.  Physically fit & mobile to assist with stock management & handling. Desirable but not essential High risk Forklift Licence Previous experience with fatigue management policies. Experience with computerised accounting and/or inventory systems such as MYOB(T) or Greentree(T). Current First Aid certificate  Experience gained within the explosives industry will be an advantage.
