About the role:
The
Mining
team is currently seeking a
Production Supervisor
to join the team.
Reporting to the
Superintendent Production , you will be responsible overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production team. Ensure that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Duties:
Support production teams to meet production targets and objectives.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental policies, fostering a safety-first culture.
Monitor production operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and resolve operational issues.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide training and development opportunities to staff.
Prepare and review production reports, ensuring accurate data recording and analysis.
Allocate resources effectively, including equipment and personnel, to achieve optimal production outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
Prior experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry.
AHS experience is preferred but not essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of mining operations and equipment.
Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
