This role involves establishing safe operating practices to achieve production targets and implementing sustainable improvements within MRM Operations.Accountabilities:• Ensure all personnel are fit for work and ready to perform duties safely and productively.• Direct crew through daily tasks and ensure compliance with Glencore SafeWork Practices.• Comply with Glencore MRM Sustainable Development Policies and Procedures.• Ensure compliance with statutory Acts, Standards, Mine Regulations, and Environmental Standards.• Prepare and conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as required.• Promote and maintain site safety standards and procedures.• Encourage regular fatigue breaks and Stop Work where tasks are unsafe.• Conduct and document scheduled inspections and observations of all MRM Operations activities.• Identify potential improvements to work practices and conditions.• Ensure all equipment is used and maintained correctly.• Ensure Incidents are entered into BSAFE within 24 hours and investigations completed.• Manage training compliance of MRM Production personnel.• Manage blood lead and dehydration testing in line with company policy.• Developing MRM operations personnel by way of providing training and coaching on effective behaviour, procedures, and operational strategies.• Supporting the Production Superintendent – in meeting production targets and monthly KPI's to meet business needs.• Working collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve business continuity.• Developing and providing input into procedures, training packages and standard work instructions to maintain document currency.• Monitoring and ensuring regulatory compliance of MRM Production crews, for competencies including health and safety, training, and environmental management.• Development of skills and experience of Production personnel.Successful applicant will have:• At least 5 years of supervisory experience within a metallurgy production environment• Understanding of Metallurgy Concentrator and Water Management operations.• Knowledge of risk management, safety systems, and legislative requirements for surface mining.• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.• Experience with Ellipse program and SAP Programs.At MRM, we support the Northern Territory first, and Territorian applicants or those prepared to relocate.Glencore employees applying for this role may be asked to discuss this with their Supervisor or Manager prior to an interview taking place.For more information, contact ****** note: We may conduct interviews and hire prior to the advertising expiring.How to apply:Start your application by clicking the "begin" button.#J-18808-Ljbffr
