Artega is a joint venture between Challenger Limited and SimCorp to provide investment administration services to the market.Artega is a technology led investment administration business offering front, middle and back office services to investment managers and asset owners in Australia and Asia.The business currently supports over $100Bn for its clients and has 140 staff located in Sydney and London.The business utilises the SimCorp Dimension software as its core technology platform.Join us as a Subject Matter Expert, Market Operations on a 6 Month Contract.At Artega & Challenger, we value teamwork, and our SME's and Associates work collaboratively to support each other across all disciplines to ensure all work is completed.We work flexibly from our Sydney CBD Office where you can expect to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.What you'll do As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within Market Operations, you'll play a crucial role in our team, ensuring that projects receive the necessary input, including reconciliations.You'll be responsible for providing your expertise across various projects as well as BAU processes, contributing to reconciliations, writing procedures, workflows, controls, and checklists for new processes and ensure their acceptance.Whilst this is an SME level role, given the nature of the current work and length of contract, you can also expect to be involved and support with BAU Operations/Associate level activities.Other responsibilities will include.Reconciliations, including SSIs, collateral movements and futures positions.Daily Overdraft (OD) reporting including running of the report (actual and potential), investigating breaks and summarising the breaks in the daily OD huddle.Daily investigation of FX date mismatches, assisting of the Back Valuation (BV) process (including SWIFT).Daily Value Date (VD) mismatch report, investigating and logging breaks.All relevant processes relating to the Claims Register including logging of items and data maintenance.Provide guidance and input to projects, including solution development, testing, procedure writing.Monitor and update procedures and workflows to ensure they remain up to date.Escalate any issues in a timely manner.Adhere to procedures, escalate gaps or deficiencies, and provide suggestions for improvement.Contribute to onboarding new business for the team when required.Skills we're looking for With at least 3 years' experience working in a Market Operations environment, you'll have a good understanding of over the counter (OTC) and exchange-traded products, as well as a broad knowledge across asset classes such as Interest Rates, Equity, FX, and Credit, including their associated market processes.You'll have previous experience of coaching and/or training others on new products and processes and ensure they are adopted and embedded accordingly.You'll also need;
